The American Red Cross has opened three additional shelters. They are:
- Mount Miguel High School, 8585 Blossom Ln., Spring Valley.
- The Rock Church (for special needs evacuees), 2277 Rosecrans St., San Diego.
- Poway Community Park, 13094 Civic Center Dr., Poway.
