The Salvation Army Kroc Center will keep kids who are out of school occupied through the rest of the week at no charge. Teachers from the Chula Vista School District will be on site leading some activities and children also can watch movies, play games and basketball, do arts and crafts, or just use the library.
For a small fee, they also can use the Ice Arena, Skatepark and, if they're 16 or older, the Fitness Center.
You don't have to be a member to join in the fun, but there are space limitations.

This was great today. Kids can run around in they gym, do arts and crafts, play board games, or watch a movie. We had so much fun! It was great to have a safe, indoor place for the little ones to get their wiggles out!
