More volunteer opportunities

There is a blood drive through 7 p.m. tonight (Tuesday) with the American Red Cross at 7675 Mesa College Drive. Eat and drink before you go.

Father Joe was just heard on 600 AM announcing that his center will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and he needs supply donations for people and animals. He will be supplying meals to the evacuees (6,000 people), gift card and bulk items are much appreciated. Please deliver to his warehouse at 3350 E. The Salvation Army is taking volunteers and donations. Among other things, they are taking volunteers to help feed the firefighters. Go to www.sandiego.salvationarmy.org, or call 1-866-I'LL HELP, or their Divisional Headquarters at 2320 Fifth Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101 619-231-6000. Please fill out the attached form and send to Mr. Tracy Emis at Tracy_Emis@usw.salvationarmy.org or call him at 619-231-6001.

i am david r levesque. and i thought do of what i was hearing on the news that perhaps the area could use more help. i am in dover, nh and as are perhaps others willing to travel to ca. to offer what help we can. could you use more people? davidrlevesque@gmail.com

I've been debating for days whether to continued my planned vacation next Monday to SD or cancel. I've decided to go as planned but revise it into a volunteer mission.

Please someone direct me where I can be of the most service. I will be in SD for a week. Thanks

my name is jeff martinez. i live in ogden, utah but most of my family lives in san diego. i work for kimberly-clark. i am going to ask the corporation to donate products such as diapers and toilet paper if these products are needed. if my company says that they will donate these goods, who is it that KC is supposed to give the donations to? also if my work wont help, i would like to help in any way i can. my email is eljefe13@comcast.net so let me know about either situation.
