Helping East County friends

Posted @ 1:49 PM

Hey East County Friends,
If you want to help your East County Neighbors who have been evacuated from their homes during this firestorm Santana High School is in need of NEW blankets and towels. Because of health reasons they need to be new not used.

Also they need childrens and adult sweat suits, they are cold at night. these can be used but clean! There is plenty of room for more people so let your other friends know they can go there.
The Lakeside Rodeo grounds is nowl taking large animals and they have several vets on duty.

Please forward this information along to your other friends and family.

Thanks
Betty
PS The Lakeside River Park is open 24 hours a day and are taking motorhomes with their animals ... horses OK too but must be tied up. Tents OK too. There is a porta potti there but otherwise it is really roughing it. "Any port in a storm!"

Saint Dunstan's church (across from Patrick Henry High School) is offering shelter to people displaced from the fires. At this point there is enough room for 20 people inside their parish hall. Pillows, blankets, food, bathrooms and mattresses are provided. The address is 6556 Park Ridge Blvd. Call ahead 619-460-6442
